In today’s blog, Candy shares her thoughts about the tattoo she loves. She goes like…
I grew up with pessimistic ideas for tattoos.
Seriously, I would literally feel anxious passing by to a person having that.
It was last year while scanning random posts from my Pinterest account and saw minimalist tattoo designs.
I felt rapturous in the sense of looking for something I could relate to.
Then, I saw butterflies which urged me to get myself inked.
I’m the type of person who’s scared of blood, more especially with needles.
So, I’ve decided to have it in small size. In case I can’t tolerate the pain, I can immediately approach them to stop.
The feeling of getting my first ink is just too veritable. My perception of it became affirmative on that day.
With that, I got to see that getting inked is not for showing off or make other believe “you’re cool”.
Whether you like it or not, they are a form of art.
And, as we discern, every artist appreciates it.
Yes, we have tattoos but let me remind you we’re not drug dealers.
Before, you say we’re wasting our time, money and making our lives miserable, think twice and expound what’s art on your end.
I hope you understand we don’t need any of your approval to let others know what we feel every time we decide to get ink from time to time.
We have our own lives, own rules.
Deal and live with it.
